Hi All,

Had a very quiet and pleasant night hooked up to someone's mooring in Waterfall Bay. This morning after a casual start we motored around to Waikawa and dropped in the little outboard for repair (after it went for its unscheduled swim) and picked up our new anchor controller and some oil and filters. We then headed down to Picton Marina where we will be for the next couple of days. This afternoon Marie took the girls ashore for a walk, joined later by Cate. The model engineers club has a little pond with model yachts which you can rent for 20 cents (you heard it here first folks - 20 cents) and you can sail them around for as long as you like.

I completed the 750 hour oil change and service on the engine (now a joy with my vacuum sucker-upper pump) and then we all went ashore for a walk. For dinner we went ashore to a local restaurant and had a nice meal.

Tomorrow the forecast is for BIG northerlies again, so we have elected to stay put and rent a car and "do" some wineries - happy with that - sav blanc anyone?
