This afternoon we sailed across to Port Fitzroy which is the main settlement on this part of the Barrier. Once there we hopped ashore for a walk for 30 minutes or so before stopping for an icecream at the general store.

On return to the boat we got an email which indicated that I am no longer required to appear in Court in darwin for work next week, so we will have another week on the Barrier before Cate returns to work a week on Saturday. This should give us the opportunity to visit a few other parts of this natural paradise.

The weather is cool but no clear, and the day time temperatures are in the mid teens which is quite comfortable.

Until tomorrow,
