Hi All,

We have finally finished our refit and only have to wait around near Gulf Harbour to pick up our new anchor and have the riggers fit the running backstays - they are awaiting some Dynex (a super strong man made rope) which is coming from Iceland (of all places). Apparently the delay has something to do with some volcano somewhere... Anyway, that means we need to head back into GH on Wednesday for scouts and to complete the work.

This morning we had an early start and motored around to Manly Bay where we spent the day sailing with the sea scouts and the Manly Yacht Club. We had a really nice day in good weather and the girls enjoyed a sail and ride around in the Yacht Club's big Rigid Inflatable Boat. The next couple of days will involve much school and tidying up from the last couple of loose ends left over from the maintenance period.

Until tomorrow...
