The best description of the boat right now is a cold sauna. It’s 100% humidity with water dripping off all the surfaces .Absolutely Everything is damp.
The storm continues to rage outside, seas are massive but we are safe plodding along with just the triple reefed main. We are now 100% controlling the boat from inside. As we have no jib up we can tack with the remote control. The angles are not great but the best we can do without too much slamming. We still do have airborne moments and then a big slam. We also have the occasional huge wave come sluicing down the boat which is dramatic to say the least. The only real hazard is fishing boats to whom we have to give way. Their sometime erratic paths can be a bit of a pain.
After 24hrs without comms as neither of us could actually hold on and hold the Bgan we finally booted it up to get some much needed messages of support ...thanks guys .
Seems we have overtaken Rainmaker though we can see Exehibitionist hot on our heels and know he has a stay sail up as well as a triple reefed main.
Food is not really top priority right now but Bobby did find some little sponge puddings and custard that were a welcome treat
