Today’s trip was just a short hop . After a lovely lunch of baked scallops in the Anchorstone cafe we headed off with the afternoon tide
It’s fair to say Purple Mist looked a bit bling in the tranquil surroundings of the Dart river.

Rob is always saying I’ve a fat bottom...I don’t know what he means !

So a short but feisty sail around start point . Beating to windward in 20kts was a bit wet but we made it round the corner and now enjoying a beer and store cupboard dinner. Tried out the last recipe we had not yet tried which was stir fry noodles and canned veg .... actually surprisingly nice.

Now the sun is setting on another lovely day here in Salcombe. This is turning into a West Country cruise!
