Finally made it to Dartmouth at 3:30am. The wind was intermittent and heading us (turning to be dead ahead) so we shoved the engine on at the end
Dartmouth is usually a welcome sight in the daytime with the coloured houses each side of the steep valley but last night it was pitch dark with no moon so we gingerly came into the river and found a free pontoon.
This morning we are rewarded with the beautiful view
I’m still laughing about last night. Best shot was this from Les with the comment...I thought you were not doing Myth of Malham.
I’m waiting for someone to protest me for using the engine !
