Day 1 and so far all is good
We had a great start in 13kts of breeze and a fast run down the coast until the wind died just before Manacles buoy. This favoured is as the fleet had to tack out so Bigfoot and Purple Mist we’re second and third round the buoy after Jangada

Wind picked up overnight and we had a pretty bumpy ride in 22kts close hauled and big seas. Ive currently had 4 big lumps of crystallised ginger to keep me feeling good. In the words of Jerry Freeman I’m definitely not in the solent with these waves

Too bumpy to bgan but hopefully the wind subsided later
