Our honeymoon was in the British Virgin Islands and
we are really chuffed to be in the Caribbean again to celebrate our 20th
Anniversary in our own boat. We would have liked to have been in the BVI's
again but they are at the northern end of the island chain and that is the area
regarded by insurance companies as being most at risk so we have settled for the
south (have I already said that?).
Had a mini crisis. I ALWAYS get birthday and
anniversary cards for Lin when I'm in England in the winter. Not this
time apparently. I went to my hiding place where I 'knew' the card was
and.... nothing. I only discovered this two days
ago (thinking ahead as usual) so went into panic mode because they don't do
cards out here.
So when Lin left the boat the other day I bundled some paper, pens and highlighters into a bag and when I went ashore to do something else I 'created' an anniversary card. I think Lin must have been impressed because she said it looked like it had been drawn by Hannah. Hannah is our 7 year old niece. I am available for commissions. Pot of tea on the table and just waiting for
breakfast:-

 There was a surprise once we returned to our
room. The maids had been :-
 There were chocolates and a card from the
hotel. It was beautifully done and we didn't have the heart to point out
the missing letter in the second word:-  There was lobster for our anniversary dinner which
was just perfect. Mrs G still scrubs up pretty well:-
