We walked around Torrevieja together on Saturday
and had a nice paella lunch. A 'real' Spanish one.
I had another play with the freshwater system
yesterday and today because it's still playing up. The new pressure relief
valve hasn't solved the problem.
I rinsed something with the shower and when I put
the shower head back in it's holder it crashed to the floor. The
shower head fitting has sheared! So we took a taxi to Carrefour and bought
a replacement. It's been a long time since we have been in such a large
store. Lin was beside herself ! We returned to the boat with some
more folding boxes, gravy and English mustard (both not normally available) and
tins of confit de canard which keep really well in our
'stores'. Tuesday 15 and Wednesday 16 August

I worked on the freshwater system yet again
yesterday and today. The alternator arrived about 6.30pm yesterday.
Dennis and I fitted it today and wired the alternator's regulator and the
Sterling 'Smart' Regulator. A bit tricky and we had some problems but
after long consultations with a friend of his we got there.
Perhaps we can leave
tomorrow!
