A productive day.

- Serkan set up the rig properly (although I feel the rigging is still too slack).

- I explained the Y-Valve to the Demir engineers who changed the pipework around and now all is fine.  This is a difficult job as access is poor and the pipework is a very inflexible 'low odour' type.

- We got the sprayhood and bimini back on.

- The electrician came to reconnect the wiring inside the boat at the base of the mast

- He also did a drop test on the starter and domestic batteries.  The starter battery is shot, the domestics have some life in them but perhaps only a year or so.  The starter battery has been a problem since new in Porto Kheli in Greece in 2008.  The domestics were last changed in 2005 and so the electrician's conclusion about those stacks up.  We got a good quote for replacement Bosch batteries so decided to change the lot.  This can be done tomorrow!
