Lin really hasn't been well and finally went to see
a Doctor last Friday. He prescribed some antibiotics and various things
for coughs and colds but she has been washed out for days.
I thought it was time to get the dinghy going so
finally pumped it up. All well there. Unfortunately the locking
bolts on the outboard engine were seized so I couldn't get the engine off the
pushpit! After a lot of jiggery pokery and the judicious use of a portable
vice that Nev gave me a few years ago the bolts were freed. I greased
the bolts and put the outboard on the dinghy.
Time to start it after a winter's
hibernation. It started first time!! Given that I didn't service the
outboard this winter that was more than I was entitled to
expect.
