Distance Run  53 Miles

We set off about 10am and almost immediately our plotter showed that we had travelled 10,000 nautical miles in this boat.  Considering how long we have been living aboard (since Septembet 2004) that is not a lot of miles compared to some who have accumulated a number of ocean passages (eg an Atlantic crossing is 3000 nm alone) but we have certainly visited many more places than some:-

Notice that the sea is 1 to 2 kilometeres deep near here ( the 1000 metre and 2000 metre contours on the chart).

The wind was very light again and so we motored most of the way again.

We are glad to have reached here.  We have crossed the Aegean and passed south along the south of the Greek mainland.  We will be sorry to leave Greece but we feel we have made some progress at last and are getting ready to leave the eastern Mediterranean.
