Puerto de Mogan is the oldest marina in Gran Canaria and although it is purpose built, it's age at 25 years, means it has matured naturally and doesn't seem artificial.  The narrow walkways between the buildings with lots of bouganvilla are very attractive and the whole place has a nice feel to it.  There is a nearby beach which is clean and sheltered.  It seems particularly popular ashore with Germans and Norwegians but the boats in the Marina are mainly Norwegian.

On Saturday we did the usual exploring and found the local but large Spar supermarket and searched for internet options.

On Sunday evening we went over to Zaurak for drinks and then out for a meal in town to discuss how we might go about 'buddying' to Cape Verde islands and across the Atlantic and we went through some of things we each needed to do beforehand.
