We were getting ready to leave Amorgos and when checking the 'engine room' found water on the floor.  The first check is to see whether it was salt or fresh water.  It was fresh so at least it meant it had come from inside the boat!  It seemed to have come from one of the pipe joints leading from the calorifier whilst we were motoring for hours yesterday.  (Water is heated in the calorifier either via the engine hot water passing through a heat exchanger or by an electric immersion heater which works when we have a mains supply).

Anyway, after re-making the relevant pipe joint and pumping out the engine room (rather a lot of water) we were on our way again.  It was a motoring day again due to lack of wind but we arrived at a bay at the south end of the island of Ios by 3pm.

We had a relaxing afternoon and Lin made pork fillet saganaki, a nice Greek dish which we haven't had since last year.

The Pilot Book explained that this anchorage is in a bay which is not for the faint hearted as it is frequented by 'naturists'.  To my disappointment this seems no longer to be the case!
