So we reached 'Deniz's Bay'  Not the real name of this bay but it is the home of Deniz's Restaurant.  This bay is the first one you reach when travelling west from Marmaris bay and we enjoy tying up at these 'docks' that the restaurants build to encourage you to visit them.  They are usually rickety and provide water and sometimes electricity.  As you enter the bay there are usually people standing on each of 3 or 4 docks waving flags at you to tempt you to their one.

 

Our first real sail has shown that the new rigging is too slack so I tightened up what I could.  We need to test this again tomorrow by sailing the boat close hauled in a reasonable wind with the boat heeling.  The leeward shrouds should be only just slackening and when sighting up the mast all should look straight.
