The marina laundry got a hammering and we sorted out some SIM cards for Portugal and got my prescription sunglasses repaired in Portimao town.  Dinner at the Tivoli Hotel in the Marina was very good one night as was lunch at one of the boardwalk cafes on Praia de Rocha.  They say in Praia de Rocha that they have the lager louts in summer and the Saga louts in winter!

Our new rudder bearings arrived at Portimao Marina on Tuesday so we called Sopromar at Lagos to arrange for the work to be done.  They confirmed they can lift us out on Thursday if we can be there the evening before.  So we left Portimao Marina on Wednesday and the phone rang.  It was Sopromar - they were apologising because they can't lift us until Friday so we went back to the anchorage in Portimao harbour instead.  We had hoped that the rudder bearing change can be done quickly and we be launched again the following day.  This won't now be possible as the next day will be Saturday and their crane doesn't operate at weekends so we will be on the hard until next Monday at least.
