Saturday 24 and Sunday 25 September
Mon and Nev collected us about 3pm on Saturday and
we went back to the 'hut'. It will work well and it's on a nice
development at Oasis Park between Portimao and Alvor. We went into Alvor
in the evening and eat at a 'steak on a stone' restaurant. Mon had fish
and the rest of us cooked our steaks on the hot stones. It was a lovely
evening.
On Sunday we had a lazy day at the hut and lounged
by the large pool at the complex. Nev and I watched the Grand Prix and we
returned to the resort's restaurant in the evening for the roast lamb
dinner.
It was really good for us to be off the boat for a
couple of days. We love what we do but the boat has been the scene
of fairly continuous repair and installation work and frustrations
since the end of July. The change of scene away from the work site is
welcome.
