We waited in Rota for a suitable weather window to
take us to Portimao on the Algarve in Portugal. We did various jobs and on
one occasion Lin decided to try my Kindle. Lin 'what do you want one of
those gadgets for' Griffiths was very impressed and thinks she might now want
one as well. The strict translation of this statement is of course
'have you ordered that new Kindle for me yet?'.
The main advantage for us of an 'e reader' on a
boat is that we can recover some shelves currently given over to books and use
them for something else. Book swapping will not be possible of course so
we will probably keep a small stock for trading.
Rota has a lovely old town section that we
