We re-launched on 5 April 2012 and started to get
on (slowly) with various recommissioning jobs - Clean and put back the Sprayhood
and Bimini and repair some areas of the teak deck that were missed when we were
at the yard.
We had left our dinghy in the water at the marina
whilst we were out of the water as it was only supposed to be for a week.
This turned into 4 weeks and we left the dinghy in the water for another two
weeks because of bad weather. Really it was because we (ie Bob) was too
lazy.
This is what the bottom looked like after 6 weeks -

cleaned:-
 Hydrochloric Acid and a scotch pad were the order
of the day.
Notice it wasn't yet warm - note the gilet, polo
shirt and trousers! |
