70 miles to go. Motoring and motorsailing the last 200 miles as the
winds have gone variable at the edge of the ocean. Fuel reserves holding
so far, if there's at least 100 ltrs useable fuel remaining in the tanks
then we'll arrive as planned around midday in Benoa.

A day of transformation on board as we all, except Robert sitting in the
corner reading his book, got stuck into removing traces of the 5000
ocean miles behind us to South Africa. First up, Kay had the crew,
except Robert sitting in the corner reading his book, rig up the
remnants of the mizzen kite as sun shades over the booms, then fenders
appeared and pumped up, mooring lines prepared, a start on the
de-saltation process of all the deck, rigging and stainless, rubbish
sorted, duck organised etc etc. Then sweltering below as we all, except
Robert sitting in the corner reading his book, started on the cleaning
and organising down below now that the boat is mostly on an even keel
and items generally stay on the shelf that they are placed on.

A rare distraction during the late afternoon while we were motorsailing
and the wind changed direction so all crew, except Robert sitting in the
corner reading his book, had to perform a Tack - only the second in
5,000 miles!

Afterwards we, except Robert sitting in the corner reading his book,
enjoyed a gathering in the aft cockpit with a beer or two and a light
hearted chat as we looked forward to this time tomorrow sitting in a bar
in Bali!
