As predicted, Steve caught something other than a full stomach at last night’s meal. Being the only one who had salad and not fish, he’s spent the day in bed feeling very sorry for himself.

No decent surf at Kuta, so weighed anchor mid morning to head for Gerapuk Bay, with the traditional check of Mawis en route. Swell has been dropping since yesterday, and getting a bit sloppy, so kept going and dropped anchor in Gerapuk Bay.
This usually has quite large and very full waves, but the lack of decent swell resulted in only a small break in close to the rocks. Not to be disheartened, they all got Ducked over for a rewarding afternoon surf.

This bay is very exposed so moved around to yet another magic anchorage off a resort alongside a small break at Ekas Bay.

An afternoons surf had all content with the days efforts in the dying swell followed by a peaceful nights sleep in cooling temperatures.
