Arrived Pulau
Tapah late afternoon. Mostly sailed with genny and mizzen, but stashed sails in
time for a severe squall with blinding rain and gusts to 25kn for a few
hours.
Dropped anchor
in time for a late afternoon surf where I believe everyone got "shacked" (not
sure what that is, but it sounds important for a successful surf
session).

Anchorage
quite exposed on edge of reef, but conveniently just a couple of hundred metres
from the surf. So a rocky and rolly night to awaken to a perfect tropical day.
The predicted increase in swell had eventuated so all overboard just after dawn
for a solid morning's surf session in some classic Indo
waves.
Ship-Zac's
birthday today so he was, as much as is possible for the lone crew in the middle
of a charter, on a day with only light duties. He spent most of it with flippers
and his waterproof camera in the surf zone dodging barrels and board
fins.
After lunch we
pulled anchor and continued our voyage to the next group of islands S with
several known breaks.
