Trying to make
ground E so taking often.
2 days of sailing
and motor sailing to the W along the Borneo coast. As hoped, land winds off the
Borneo coast, when they blow, have been favourable. Current is still contrary
but has eased considerably.
Prevailing wind
still W/SW - too much on the nose for this section, but hoping they persist once
we round the SW corner of Borneo where the SW winds will be ideal for the leg up
to the Riau Islands.
