Just pulled
anchor to reluctantly depart from this magic location. The break, known as
Grunters, on the N side of the bay. Deep in the bay it shoals but with a
navigable narrow dog-legged channel leading into a postcard perfect
lagoon.
The right
hander was enjoyed for 2 days and the anchorage with classic tropical weather
provided endless swimming, snorkeling and diving options. So a couple of days of
perfect surf and ideallic anchorage had to end as we need to keep voyaging
south. We'll overnight to a small cluster of island about mid-way down the W
coast of Nias.
