This is the Adelaide river. It is infested!
Apparently the local farmers allow the loss of one head of cattle every three
days to these predatory beasts.
They are wonderful to see in the wild. Just don't
consider swimming or even dangling your arm in the water to cool off.
Apparently they are so clever they plot the
movements of their prey, so if you camp near the river you might be able to wash
your dishes every day for 3 days but on the fourth........
you will be breakfast!!
