Transit through the canal was wonderful.

Fabulous lake scenery, At 6 am there was an amazing chorus from the monkeys that was so loud, and moved from one spot to the next as nearby tribes were sequentially moved to song!

We spotted an evil-looking fresh water crocodile from not far away and managed a scary close up photo.

Once over on the Pacific side there are lots of different sea birds but the Pelicans are amazing and so clumsily graceful in flight and when diving for fish.

You can see a picture of our line handler, Benjamin, handling a different sort of line;
Number 42 buoy that holds all the answers;
beautiful Pelicans;
Miraflores locks;
Ed with the dramtic background of skyscrapers in Panama city as we exit the canal on the Pacific side.

What a day!
