In spite of the dilightful sea temperature of 31 deg we can't tempt the fish to bite. Caught a very large fish yesterday that took all the line and then chewed through the wire trace and escaped. Think it was a great white .......... well perhaps a great white tuna.

Strongest wind so far 43 knots ( force 9) and boat copes exceptionally well, fastest speed this leg 12.3 knots ( surfing)

Watch out on the news for details of a dramatic rescue by one of the boats up ahead of us.
