Haul out 2013 – Nelson Slipway

A thoroughly hassle free lift on a railway.  All very slow and gentle.  Once the beams are correctly positioned beneath the bulkheads the cradle is pulled out of the water and shunted around the yard just like Thomas the Tank Engine.

We’re out to clean the bottom, change saildrive boots, repaint the front beam and davits  Doesn’t sound like much so we should be back in the water in six days – maybe.
