After 4 days on a mooring ball we moved, about 50 meters. The ball was a bit exposed to people that don't really get, that moorings and anchors don't mix well - swinging circles, to the uninitiated. When a ball opened up closer to the shore, we moved. This had a second advantage, in that we realised that the nearest buildings were a mini resort, with a very nice restaurant. So for our last night we went posh - had a wash, dressed up in real clothes, resolved not to swear or spit. Was right nice, and tasty, and expensive.

This morning we left for Raiatea. Nice and easy 3.5 hours. No wind, so motored, desalinated water, and made bacon butties. Went through the pass and straight into Fa'aroa bay. Mooring ball again - nice. However, while a restaurant is mentioned, there doesn't appear to be one, so this will be a one night stand, float.

All's well on x86, but I fear a Cluedo ass kicking may be coming.
