After 8 days in Torrevieja, we finally escaped, and had a 5 hour easy motor down to Cartehenya - on two engines. The problem hadn't been the fuel pump, it was Diesel bug, a nasty living bug that thrives in the diesel- water convergence layer, just off the bottom of the tank. We were well buggered, with a layer of the evil stuff, coating the bottom of the tanks. The engineers took a 'don't stuff around with this' stance, and we agreed. Two thousand euros, three days of hard labor, and two pairs of custom made stainless steel access plates later, we were good to go. Any future problems with the tanks, will be easy to deal with. Job jobbed.

Chance and I went quad biking - nice.
Chance and Karen went crazy boat crazying - nice.
