It's about 350NM to the real Gib, but this place has a distinct inbred cousin feeling. We're holed up for 5 days in Peurto de Calpe, waiting for a storm front to move through. Walked 3/4 up the rock today, including through a nice slippery tunnel. Common sense called a halt to upward progress, as heavy rain swept in and the narrow cliff edge rock trail above the tunnel got muddy. People were coming down splatted from head to foot in mud, so we binned it.
