First we sent the boat to Mersin, then we sold off the rest of of our household possessions, then we sent Bosun to transit kennel. After a couple of nights in the Arabian Ranches Golf Club/Hotel, we headed to Cyprus, and Bosun followed us in. He coped well, which stunned us! A couple of week's holiday in brilliant Tochni, was just the biscuit, after all the work to extracate from Dubai.
I'd cancelled my phone and thus lost control of the UAE bank account (not able to receive text confirmations when trying to transfer money out). Plonker! We were able to change the registered phone to Karen's pre pay one. Tenuous, but workable.
