Naxos, was a big like. Initial reading deceived, as we found a lovely, if somewhat 'swelly' harbor, and a a wonderful town. Narrow streets with passageways and arches, like a smugglers hideaway
We parked in French St, and found the French living wonderfully up to their isolationist reputation. No animosity, but little Mon Ami to anyone other than fellow reptiles. Why such a covern of French boats? No idea.
Not too bad a place for The Bosun (fair off lead time), and I found a bar willing to put the F1 on TV for me - bonus!
Karen found it noisy at night, as she's not yet able to tune it extraneous out. Harbors are always noisy, due to the bars and cafes closely packing their edges.
Naxy Naxos was a very enjoyable trois nights, even with the dodgy neighbors!
