Day 9 Atlantic Crossing,
positon 14'N 40'W, December 15th.
Despondency of yesterday
much diminished as we are now whizzing along at seven knots. We have the
cutter stay up, and below is a picture of us getting some breeze last
night..

So we may arrive before
2006 at this rate. Conversation last night on the SSB, with yacht Regina,
about one day from finishing the crossing.
SG: 'We think we will
be there by 2006'
Regina: 'Ha, Ha, what
is your positon?'
SG: ' Our postion is
14'N 38'W'
Regina: 'Ahhh, I see
that you were not joking'.
At the moment it seems
funny to think of ever seeing land again.
Bread in the oven, as well
as chocolate brownies, so time to go and get some lunch ready.
Lunch: Bread and
tuna. Supper: Packet rissotto and
cabbage.
