Waited for 3 days for good weather, should perhaps
have waited 4 or 5! Horrible first 18hrs into the wind and short steep seas
(I thought they didn't have these in the Pacific)
Better today but still a lot of swell although the
wind has backed enough to sail. 144nm down, 540 to go. In this weather 2
x 4hr overnight watches is a bit of a killer.
