Well we are nearly there but the thought of navigating in the dark through fields of pots was something we shied away from, so have anchored for the night in the bay of Sagres (home to Henry the Navigator's school of navigation circa 15th century) and then move to Lagos tomorrow.

The winds have continued all day, up to 34 knots this morning and now are still trundling from the north at over 20 knots through the anchorage, so not a quiet night for us then!
