.....we have seen a rainbow....well twice really, once in a rainbow and then we saw all the colours in the sunset last night except green, but then we didn't see the green flash either. After all this time and we still haven't seen it. Never mind, there is always another day and another sunset. After a mostly grey day it was nice to see a little bit of blue sky and the sun, albeit briefly anfd of course the rainbow colours.

Hold the front page - yes we did actually catch another fish and this time we have photo and video evidence! This one was caught last night as we were finishing supper - it was about 18-24 inches long, had a black back, silver belly and had several dark horizontal stripes running down its side. We let it go - it was getting dark and we really didn't feel like stuffing it in the fridge without cleaning it, and that was going to take some time, so were returned it to the sea. If anyone knows what it was we'd be most grateful to know - it was still swimming when we last saw it.

We had our first "phishing" e-mail in Mailasail yesterday after using the account for over 6 years. Somehow they got hold of our e-mail address and were threatening to switch off the Iridium account unless we logged onto their web site and confirmed our details - something we cannot do at sea. How they knew we had one is intriguing. Obviously concerned we contacted Mailasail as we have no other way of confirming or denying what was being requested. Without Iridium we will be without weather information, be able to post blogs and our of course position, which is not what we want for this trip at all. Hopefully all is ok now and Mailasail say we should be ok, but we were surprised to receive it.

No more ships in these last 24 hours and only one solitary Shearwater  - we do not know what species this one is as its been a little far off to positively identify. Stll its nice to know one is out there as there is no other wildlife to report.

Today is another shades of grey day with some drizzle and rain about and pretty light winds.

More in due course.........
