It's less then 2000 miles to Saint Lucia, we've got a full tank of diesel, several packs of cigarettes, it's dark (or at least is in here) and we're wearing sunglasses (which are not helping right this second).

Hit it.

The seas have reverted to their previous colour of blue, rather then then the more familiar green we had around the Cape Verde islands. The sea at times looks bizarrely like it's cel-shaded, which is a weird look, and making me wonder if I'm in the Matrix... Well, probably not.

And I've been reading. Oh the reading. Having gone through The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo (original title Men who hate Women - which makes more sense in context of the book, if not in the series), The Girl Who Played With Fire and The Girl Who Kicked the Hornet's Nest, I have tackled the Gormenghast trilogy, and now really want to check out the BBC adaptation from some years back. Kind of hoping they didn't bother with Titus Alone (being a fragmentary and strange book and missing 99.9% of the cast from the first two books).

No dolphins since we departed, but the odd flying fish. Somewhere out there are whales, which will be interesting. Providing we can see them at a distance.

P.S. Winds are very scarce, progress is slow and who knows how long we will remain sane?
