Whilst the men were sailing Steph and I headed out for the hills and walking and exploring. The first day we headed up to Deia - a lovely hill top town on the west coast. Having parked the car we walked down to Cala Deia on the coast . Unfortunately it was a walk down the road but we did better coming back though quite hard work uphill but managed to find the path through the olive groves which was mush more pleasant. We managed a swim once there and then a lunch (which Steph had pre booked )at the popular restaurant in the Cala - Ca’s Patro March. Quite a hot day and a very popular spot . An excellent day out and good exercise by the time we had walked all the way back up to Deia.

Our second walk was from Banyabulfar towards Port des Canongue. Again up int eh mountains but further south west down the coast from Deia. This was a relatively flat walk along a path in the pine trees overlooking the coast. Some superb views and past some good rock formations. We didn’t make it the whole way to the port as had a lunch booked in the town at 2.00 and we also needed to be back in Palma fairly sharpish to get ready for the evenings entertainment

On the third day when we had to amuse ourselves I joined Steph at their hotel on the front in Palma and we had a relaxing morning and lunch by the pool and a good swim too.
