David and friend Andrew flew from London to Olbia Sardinia early on Wednesday morning 12/9. They arrived in Santa Theresa to find the boat back in the water , clean inside and out and everything seeming to be in order except no laundry but that did appear later after questioning the marina office.
They moved the boat back over onto the quay where we had been previously and set to to make sure engine and generator worked - they did . From the odd conversation I think a bit overwhelmed by the stuff he had taken back to the boat apart from personal things and presumably tired from a very early start. So an early night after supper at a restaurant at the head of the marina.
The next day saw them sorting everything out, getting the dinghy back and onto the davits though apparently Andrew fell into the water from the dinghy not sure how!! and the all important victualling was done by walking into town and getting a taxi back. No mean feet especially as quite hot. Again I am sure an early night.
In the meanwhile I have been enjoying visiting a friend in Basel, exploring and swimming in the Rhine.
