Departed our lagoon anchorage at Barcadera about an hour ago after this mornings down pour and accompanying squal and once again heading west enjoying down wind sailing in about 14k easterlies and very little in the way of swell. We have been behaving like tourists, lazing around beaches and bars and havent had much contact with other cruisers, time drifts very easily in Aruba! We are leaving earlier than we have to just in case there are any last minute issues with our canal agent but from emails all the rest of our litle flotilla are en route so fingers crossed time.
