Phew, has been pretty wild and windy and we have been grateful for a sheltered berth. Lull this afternoon gave us the chance to get near the entrance to the Kiel canal but even so we were tacking into 20k westerlies for a time. We went under the Fehmarnsund bridge alongside a tanker which was novel and are now in a small marina justa few miles from the canal locks. Forecast isn't great so just as well we are taking the short cut!
