anchor up at 6 this morning, bright and fresh early morning. Winds have been light N and NW with very little swell and weather has been great and very clear giving fantastic views of coast from about 3 - 6 nM off. Decided to sail outside all the islands rather than take the shorter inner routes. There is about .5 to 1 knot current against us , so progress modest, at mo doing nett 4.9knots.
just as well as it is easy sailing as water maker packed in mid morning. After some cursing and swearing the culprit was found, a seized bearing or something on the feed pump and membrane clogged which sent Graham into the depths of his spares locker but all is well again now.
