About 50 nM north of Lanzarote with about 150nM to gran canaria so expect to be in tomorrow morning, incredibly still got the northerlies, NNE at mo 18k and the sea has calmed down somewhat. Saw another yacht battling north early this morning but apart from that have had the ocean to ourselves, not even a dolphin. so easy pleasant downwind sailing. Even baked some bread which never lasts long!and will have to repeat so we can have our traditional bacon sarnies tomorrow before we arrive.
