Easterly winds it is. As we are heading a little east of north (016 degrees True) that means that most of the time we have been sailing on a close reach (60 degrees off the wind). This translates as fast and reasonably comfortable, only a little bit heeled over and not too bumpy. Unfortunately the winds have a touch of north in them at the moment so we are close hauled (45 degrees off the wind). Read slower and uncomfortable, heeled and bumpy.

Still, it's sunny, the breeze is not too weak and not too strong and we are sailing in the right direction . Lovely.

We are starting to feel the influence of the tropics. Sailing barefoot again!
