There is a joke that goes: “How do you make God laugh?”
Answer: “You tell him about your plans!”

We had originally planned to go to Senegal but given the Ebola situation in neighbouring countries we have reluctantly decided to give that a miss. This means that we are now going to be in the Canaries until after I have flown to my daughter Anna’s wedding. We will be exploring the various islands until mid January, then hopefully spend a little time in the Cape Verde Islands before crossing to Brazil.
