Photos from the crossing to Niue
Maupiti Island - we didn’t stop
A calm day at sea
Palmerston Atoll and the reef (taken from our mooring)
Arrival at dawn at Alofi wharf, Niue
P.S. The siren of Palmerston arrived at Niue and told us that the night we left Palmerston, the wind dropped and went westerly. Two of the five boats lost their anchors (the swivel broke) and ended up very close to the reef. They were able to recover the anchors.
N.B. Caramor doesn’t have a swivel on her anchor. We have heard of them breaking before.
