A bit bumpy

The wind started picking up Wednesday morning so we furled the genoa and hoisted the staysail. It was still too much canvas so we hoisted the storm jib instead. The main has three reefs.
It was blowing 30 knots for 16 hours. The sun was shining and the ocean was beautiful. It’s night now and the wind is calming down, averaging 25. We aren’t making much progress, our course is barely south of west but Caramor is comfortable and I slept like a log.
I asked Dave if he was enjoying himself and he said there were plenty places he would rather be, including undergoing a front lobotomy. Some people are just so ungrateful!
