We received a seasonal email from my brother Tony and suddenly realised it’s almost Xmas! The carols and the nativity scenes in Valdivia should have been a giveaway really but it’s really hard to get your head around Xmas in midsummer! It wasn’t so bad in the Falklands as it actually snowed on midsummer’s day.

Kath and I have been back with Caramor for two weeks now and have been busy as beavers getting her ready for the Pacific. Yesterday we hired a car and drove to Puerto Montt  to pick up new batteries and our serviced liferaft. We spent most of today fitting them as of course we couldn’t get the ones we had, and the Trojan (top quality) batteries we could get are slightly smaller. I have also been working steadily on Pesda Press projects.

On our three month land trip the adventures just kept coming and Kath is still hard at it catching up with the blog. She is putting the dates things happened so make sure you don’t miss any.

Seasons greetings to you all.
