PETER ISLAND AND NORMAN ISLAND 5th -   9th MARCH
Anchored in Great Harbour Peter Island where the new ‘Willy T’s’ is.  Obviously we had to go and have a rum punch and have a look.  We got chatting to an American Couple, Tom and Molly from S/Y Reverie.  We ended up staying for supper on board.

The following morning we went around to Pirates Bay on Norman Island.  The wreck of the old Willy T was near us on shore, such a sad sight.  The water was amazingly clear and a swim and paddle board was the order of the day.  There was a big Barracuda sheltering under our yacht which eyed Jonathan up when he was scrubbing the bottom. I also saw a sting ray sitting in the sand near us.

Ashore in the evening to the restaurant at Pirates Bight to catch up on wifi there with things going on else where in the world.
Very heavy rain early in the morning did a walk along some of the paths on the island not a very long one. Saw lovely bay on our walk called Benures Bay so decided to go around there the following day to anchor.
Walked for two hours up to the highest peak looking over the bay and islands towards Tortola.  It was perfect even though hot and sticky, cleared the cobwebs.
Had drinks in the evening with Tom and Molly at Pirate’s Bight.
Below the wreck of the Old Willy T.  View of Pirates Bight from our walk with Aqualuna at anchor in the foreground.
Last photo of Benares Bay.
